Growing Up

I grew up in a large, loving family of 10 children. As a little girl I had already decided my future; I was going to be a nun. The love of God was already so strong in my spirit. My mother was a Baptist but when she married my father we were raised as Catholic. We didn’t read the bible at home but my mother read it at night while we slept. My mother was a strong, spirit-filled and led woman. I am an introvert, and as a child I would spend lots of time alone listening and talking to God in my mind. I accepted Christ as a young girl and I’m grateful for my childhood as a Catholic. As an introvert, it was easy for me to listen to Christ because we had to be quiet in church. I used this time to do what he instructed, “Be still and know that HE is God.” I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit and knew I would end up going into business for myself. My first business was my own beauty salon in Kentucky called, Mary’s Golden Comb. I closed it in 1983 to move to Maryland to remarry.

Covenant

My spiritual transformation began when I became a young grandmother. My son became a father; his daughter’s name is Shontay. I had just remarried and moved from Kentucky to Maryland. My husband had no children so I knew I was going to need a miracle. I made a covenant with God concerning Shontay’s life and mine. God knew I was serious about the covenant. He honored my prayers and I got custody of her and brought her to live with us in Maryland. I grew up not knowing the scriptures and didn’t want that for Shontay. I took her to different churches that had a Sunday School department. I let her decide on the church we would join. We joined an AME church in Wheaton, Maryland and I was blessed beyond measure. My adventure with God was just beginning. I was very active in the church. I taught Sunday school primary, intermediate and adult’s classes, singing in the choir, ushering, intercessory prayer ministry, tutoring etc. I was so committed to God and my love for Him continued to grow. God began the process of calling me out. The call of God is unlike anything you can even conceive. It is just like going through labor pains except the pain is spiritual. God is spirit so it takes a while to understand HIS ways. I accepted the call in 1992 as an exhorter. As an exhorter I use the scriptures but talk about my life as direct application to the scripture.

Vision

I made up my mind I would be obedient no matter what the cost. “Man looks at the outward appearance, but God looks at the heart.” God has lead me places and shown me things in visions and dreams. I have witnessed to people of all cultures and religions. As a result of my obedience, I was given my purpose in life. I began creating board games and all kinds of items to be used in the churches and Sunday school classes. My love for God and the church led me to work late at night creating computer-generated items. The superintendent combined all of the children’s classes together on the fourth Sunday. He would play some of the games I had created with the classes. I was given a vision of Calvary Cross for a board game. I asked God how I was going to get the graphic for it. He told me to ask Chip (Daniel). Daniel was the young art teacher at my elementary school. He created the Calvary Cross graphic and that was the beginning of my business. The one picture that he painted for me was used to bless pastors at all the different churches where I have been sent. I used it to create personalized notepads. All of the other graphics were created by me under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

A Business is Born

I have been using the paper items I have created to bless churches. God loves his churches and it has been a blessing for me to be used this way. For the past 5 years I have been creating items and blessing all the pastors, deacons, deaconesses, and officers of all the churches where I have been sent. For the past 4 years I have been working on a national church database. I will use this to direct-market my items. God gave me the vision and every step of the way He has been leading me to fulfill His purpose for my life. This year has turned out to be a blessed one. God led me to work in a new school where I would meet my destiny. He has put so many wonderful people in my life to help with His purpose. The secretary at my school is a graphic and web designer. She volunteered to create my web site to fulfill a requirement for one of her classes. She has been my right-arm angel. I could not have done any of this without her help. She is just a blessing and an angel in human flesh. The two men with whom I work(Aaron and Timothy) have been such a help and guidance to me. I feel so blessed and loved by my heavenly Father. He put this team together and I don’t know what’s next!

My desire is to bless people all over the world and to spread the Love of the Lord and the word of His scriptures through these spirit-filled creations.
